Love

is an untamable cat soft and sexy

seducing you to carry it in arms,

then, struggling against you, scratching you, its fine scratches being clear in view

–is fire wrapped in paper whose hot flame nibbles

the territory of the paper regardless of its end of ember

You cut off all the clues concerning her

you eat and sleep regularly, cursing her

But your lovesickness is growing forever

The West Lake

I still remember our first encounter It was going to rain

The dimples of your lake

were crowded with silver fish

Later, we corresponded

and embraced, like the fine rain the dense seams on the lake

How beautiful it was then

with all the dust in the mortal world

sinking to the bottom of the lake while only the loving couple rose with buoyancy

When I love you, it’s azure

When I don’t, it’s leaden
