贺敬之，山东枣庄人。曾任中华人民共和国文化部代部长、中宣部副部长。

1942年毕业于延安鲁艺文学系。诗人、剧作家。中国文学艺术界联合会第十届荣誉委员。15岁参加抗日救国运动，16岁到延安入鲁迅艺术学院文学系，17岁入党。1945年和丁毅执笔集体创作中国第一部新歌剧《白毛女》，获1951年斯大林文学奖，是中国新歌剧发展的里程碑。

In 1942, he graduated from the Yan'an Luyi Literature Department. Poet, playwright. The tenth honorary committee member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. At the age of 15, he joined the Anti-Japanese National Salvation Movement. At the age of 16, he joined the Literature Department of the Lu Xun Academy of Art at Yan'an. In 1945, he and Ding Yi wrote collectively to write China's first new opera "The White-haired Girl" and won the Stalin Literature Prize in 1951, which was a milestone in the development of China's new opera.
