1948年生，河南省三门峡人。1993年6月毕业于河南大学编辑学研究生班。全国诗歌报刊网络联盟首轮主席，河南省诗歌学会名誉会长，大河诗刊社社长兼主编。1971年4月在部队《战旗报》发处女作。出版诗集15部，著有诗集《五色土》、《爱的方位》、《多情的季节》、《爱的音符》、《流动的城河》、《雪神》、《高旭旺抒情诗选》，《高旭旺的话诗》，散文诗集《流彩的世界》等。部分组诗选入《青年诗选》、《中国短诗选》、《中国散文诗选》，组诗《黄河大写意》、《诗人阐释》、《纪念母亲》等。诗集《心灵的太阳》获第四届河南省人民政府奖，长诗《河之书》获第二届中国长诗奖、《中国作家》鄂尔多斯文学奖诗歌奖等。

Gao Xuwang, born in 1948, is from Sanmenxia, Henan Province. In June 1993, he graduated from the postgraduate course of editing in Henan University. Chairman of the first round of the National Poetry Newspapers and Networks Alliance, Honorary President of the Henan Poetry Society, President and Editor-in-Chief of the Dahe Poetry Magazine. In April 1971, he made his debut in the army's "War Banner". Published 15 poetry collections, authoring poetry collections "Five Colors of Earth", "Love's Location", "Lovely Seasons", "Love Notes", "Flowing City River", "Snow God", "Gao Xuwang Lyric Poetry Selection", "Gao Xuwang's Poems of Poetry", prose poem collection "World of Flowing Colors", etc. Some group poems were selected into "Youth Poetry Selection", "Chinese Short Poetry Selection", "Chinese Prose Poem Selection", group poems "Yellow River Freehand", "Poet Interpretation", "Memorial Mother" and so on. The poem collection "Sun of the Soul" won the 4th Henan Provincial People's Government Award, the long poem "Book of River" won the 2nd China Long Poetry Award, "Chinese Writer" Ordos Literature Award Poetry Award, etc.
