阎志，著名诗人、慈善家，1972年7月1日出生于湖北省罗田县。卓尔控股有限公司董事长 、卓尔发展集团（HK.02098）董事会主席，中国基建港口集团（HK.08233）董事会主席。高级经济师，武汉大学工商管理硕士、长江商学院工商管理硕士、武汉大学中国传统文化研究中心博士研究生，华中科技大学兼职教授。2016年胡润百富榜，阎志以305亿财富排名第50位。2016胡润房地产富豪榜发布，阎志以285亿排名第十。

阎志1989年起开始文学创作，1999年加入中国作家协会。先后在《青年文学》、《诗刊》、《星星》等刊物发表文学作品数百篇，结集出版有《明天的诗篇》、《阎志诗选》、《挽歌与纪念》、《少年去流浪》、《风铃》、《童年的鸟》等十多部文学作品。获《诗刊》社2008年诗歌大奖赛一等奖、2007年度中国诗潮奖、第二届完美文学奖、第二届徐志摩诗歌奖 、第五届湖北文学奖 、第八届屈原文艺奖。作品被译为英、日等文字，是《中国诗歌》主编。
