ROOKIE’S ROMANCE

High mountain and flowing water seem to make a perfect couple,

They have their own shiny and charming glow:

High mountain is erected and tall with abundance in content,

Flowing water is gentle, graceful and cute.

They can be said to be truly trusty little partners since early age,

Playing and entangling with each other day after day until affection

begins to sprout

High mountain genuinely hopes to have the girl by his side forever,

Blowing of wind and growling of mountain is his naive expression of love

But flowing water aims at a broader world,

The girl of aphrodisiac affection longs for sea afar!

But at the farewell moment, flowing water became reluctant to leave

The soil and sand she had taken away is filled with the Demeanour of high mountain.

HALF A BOTTLE OF RED WINE

At the most vociferous time of the evening dinner party,

You suddenly turned away stealthily,

The half bottle of red wine left on the feast table,

Is still shaking in my bewildered heart.

Though you are normally introverted and tender,

This moment you have all of a sudden turned angrily extrovert,

You have no doubt tasted of strange odor with sensitivity,

Tasted the unexpected sourness and foulness of this dirty world.

I then hurried to leave the table intending to ask for the reason,

Unfortunately the meteor flew past without leaving any trace behind.

Why is it that? The red wine soaked in my heart,

When can the red wine become fragrant and tasty?

SILENCED OUT OF PAIN

Tall mountain stream,

A clear water winds forward,

Passing by the hill rock at the turning,

She looks affectionate.

Spindrifts splash at one time,

Beckoning in excitement;

Green waves walk leisurely by at another;

Flowing gently by.

How hard and erected is the hill rock,

Deserving the name of broad-minded man:

Despite the dash of waves,

Listens carefully to the complaint of dimples.

But the hill rock senses its own fission,

Fearing only that the clear pure water flow might be polluted,

Even if the sweetheart was broken-hearted,

He remains silent regardless of the pain.

GREEN VINE

Vase on the balcony is miserable intolerable to my eye upon my return from a long trip,

Raiding by storms turned delicate prosperity to depression,

All bright famous flowers became beauties of invulnerable fate,

Only the little tree at the corner still remains green and vigorous.

However,he is not the only outstanding one and not lonely,

A green vine is vigorously twisting tightly around him,

Like a beautiful lady entangled with him life and death,

She holds her sweetheart fervently with fragrance poured out!

SUNFLOWER AMID THE WILD GRASSES

There stands erected a sunflower amid the wild grasses,

Energetic with a full face of smile.

Though she received no care or love since childhood,

She is extraordinarily elegant and outstanding.

She strives for constant advancement in the boundless wasteland,

Gracefully erected, priding over change of the world,

Like mountain girls, simple but concentrating on justice,

At the blossoming time, the heart is surged with waves.

The girl secretly presents her sunny passionate love,

To her sweetheart day in and day out,

Pointing eastward in the morning and westward in the afternoon,

Loyally dedicating a psalm of fragrance!

EXOTIC FLOWER IN THE FOG

I lingered on the mountain track near the sea,

It was quiet with boundless white fogs in the surrounding.

I was feeling extreme fatigue and confusion,

When piercing fragrance of flower was smelt.

I traced to the place of mounted rocks,

Happily seeing exotic flower blossoming on the cliff:

Light yellow petal,dark red bud,

Green stem erected with pride.

I tiptoed to reach out my hand to harshly pick the exotic flower,

Unexpectedly my finger was stabbed hurt deeply.

I rubbed my wounds in frustration,

Couldn’t help but looked up again to see her more carefully in silence.

The stem was filled with stabs,

Beautiful outlook appears to be graceful and elegant.

I pulled one step back and again looked up in affection,

O,exotic flower in the fog is dim and fragrant!
